Membership classes will begin Sunday March 24th, 9:30-10:30am in the boardroom.
If you are interested in learning more about membership, please come to the classes.  Any questions beforehand, connect with Pastor Randy.

Good Friday Service – March 29, 2024

10am – Join us for this Special Service remembering what the Lord has done for us.  Communion will be observed.

In the beginning of April, we are sending 5 suitcases to the Mukanzo Orphanage for their needed supplies. One item they are looking for is used phones or tablets/iPads.

If anyone has this item to donate, please contact Melissa Froese, 204-392-7082.

APRIL TABLETALK Devotionals are HERE!

Copies of the TableTalk Devotional are available for pickup on the table by the mailboxes. If you would like one in your mailbox each month, please let the church office know and we will add you to the list.

RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION FORMS

For Green Valley School and South Oaks School are available on the table by the mailboxes.  If your child is entering Grade 1 to High School in the upcoming school year, please register them for Religious Instructions.  This form is different from the Discovery Time forms that come home from school.  Taking time to fill these out ensures that we have the required numbers to have Religious Instruction in our Schools!

Bergthaler Homeschool Collective

Planning has begun for 2024/2025 school year.  If you are considering joining our ministry for homeschooling families or would like to have more information, please send us an email at office@gbmchurch.com

We look forward to hearing from you!

COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Keepers of the Kingdom – VBS 2024 is set for July 7-11.  We’re excited!   Here are a few ways you can help to make that week a success:

1. Worship Leader for each evening
2. Sign up to be a helper or group leader – an information and training night will be planned!
3. Become a committee member.  This is urgent as we need extra minds to help plan the event!
Talk to your pastor or a current VBS committee member (Bergthaler – Zoe Martens) if you’re interested.

Prayer for Schools – April 1st – 7pm

‘If your life is hemmed in prayer, it is less likely to become unraveled.’

This is one of the reasons we gather to pray for our children and their learning environments each month.  We would love to have you join us for 15 minutes of prayer time in the Green Valley parking lot on April 1st at 7 pm.  You don’t need to have a school-aged child to come and pray. All ages welcome.

STANDING FIRM CONFERENCE INVITATION – April 19-20, 2024
We’d like to welcome you and your congregation to the 3rd Annual Standing Firm Conference. Registration is now open! We are looking forward to a time of learning, fellowship, and sharing meals together.

The theme this year is Your Thoughts, Your Ways, O Lord. Our aim is to bask in the beauty of the supremacy of God and to grow regarding His holiness as we seek to know Him better. We desire that you would be strengthened through godly teaching, and great fellowship and that together we would give the glory to God. We eagerly await the opportunity to serve you this weekend, so prayerfully consider registering and coming, and may we stand firm together on the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
